Seriously, these little things are the only good things I have this week.

First off, Snowfire, one of my boar guinea pigs, had been struggling with eating for the past two weeks. Poor guy is only a year old and too young to deal with this kind of crap. Taking him to the vet, we found out he had a crack on one of his bottom teeth and it was causing him not being able to eat and drooling consistantly. For the next few days, I force fed him baby food mixed his own food it hopes he would eat without assistance.

Today, he's running around, trying to break into the female cages, nibbling on mum's socks, attempting to assault his brother and just being his normal self. Thank you, Dr. Kathy!

-hears something thumping- .... -_- And he's now trying to get on the couch why?

Soooo, other good news is that Bugger, my young stud finch, has four new brothers/sisters that are due to leave their nest soon. The eggs hatch a few weeks ago and they are now noisy, sitting on top of each other, and starting to peek out of the opening of the nest.
Meanwhile, I've been working on how to stop or slow down the aggressive fighting between Bugger and his female cagemate, Divaba. I did some altering of their cage last night and they seem to behaving themselves this afternoon, except for Bug. He's....trying to mount her every time she sits near him. Okkkaaaayyy then. Shows how lonely he was before we got her.
Once I find the camera, I'll take pictures of what their cage is looking like now, Kusco's new bachleor pad, and hopefully the babies.
